Privacy policy

Last updated: 3 November 2026

This policy explains how Carrybit Limited handles personal data when you visit this website or contact us. If you have a question about it, email privacy@carrybit.co.uk.

Who we are

Carrybit Limited is the data controller. We're registered in England and Wales.

This website

We don't ask for personal data on this website, and there are no forms or accounts. The site has:

  • no cookies
  • no ads
  • no analytics or trackers
  • no third-party fonts or scripts: everything loads from our own site

Server logs

The site is hosted by Netlify. Like most web hosts, they may process technical details such as your IP address and browser type when your device requests a page. That's needed to deliver the site and keep it secure. We don't use this information to identify visitors or to build profiles of them.

If you email us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use them to reply and to deal with what you've asked about, which is our legitimate interest in running the company and answering people who contact us. We keep your messages only for as long as we need them for that, or as long as the law requires. Our email is hosted by Microsoft 365, which processes messages on our behalf.

We don't sell your personal data, and we don't use it for advertising.

Our apps

Our apps have no ads. We haven't released an app yet. Before we do, we'll add details here of what data, if any, each app handles and why. Each app's store listing will also carry the store's own privacy information.

Links to other sites

We link to a few other sites, such as Buy Me a Coffee and YouTube. They're run by other companies, and their own privacy policies apply once you follow the link.

Transfers outside the UK

The providers named above may process data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer needs to be covered by safeguards that UK data protection law requires.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. You can also object to how we use it or ask us to restrict that use. To do any of this, email privacy@carrybit.co.uk.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update it on this page and change the date at the top.
